Skin Boosters

A Guide to Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve skin quality and hydration. Typically formulated with hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, these substances work to rejuvenate and hydrate the skin from within. By injecting small quantities of the booster into the skin, skin boosters enhance the skin’s hydration levels and stimulate collagen production. This process improves skin elasticity, reduces fine lines, and revitalizes dull or tired-looking skin. Skin boosters can be used on various areas, including the face, neck, hands, and décolletage, to achieve a radiant and youthful appearance. The treatment involves a series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, promoting gradual and long-lasting improvements in skin quality. Skin boosters are a popular choice for individuals seeking to enhance their skin’s overall health, texture, and appearance without undergoing more invasive procedures.

What to expect during a skin booster treatment.

Prior to skin booster treatment, the skin is cleaned thoroughly and a numbing cream is applied. A runny gel is then injected into the skin using either a very small needle or a flexible, blunt tube called a cannula. Following treatment, you may notice some temporary puffiness, redness and bumps for 24-72 hours depending on the area treated and the technique used.

Most patients notice their skin appears more hydrated and glowy within 7 days of their first treatment.
