Renavé Patient Journey
Truly Personalised
Wellness Your Way
The beginning of every journey at Renavé starts with a detailed 1-1 consultation. Whether you’ve had treatments before or are simply unsure of where to start, the consultation is the perfect way to get informed about treatment options in a pressure free environment.
The consultation forms an essential part of the aesthetic process so that we can evaluate your skin, understand your concerns then create a bespoke treatment plan to achieve your goals.
Prior to arrival you will be required to fill out a few forms such as a medical history questionnaire (sent to you via email upon booking) to ensure your wellbeing and safety is maintained at all times. We are more than happy help and guide you through this process.
Some patients like to be treated straight after their consultation but there are also patients that prefer to go home to think over what they’ve learnt, which is absolutely fine. We always want you to be informed before deciding on what’s best for you! There is no right or wrong way, just whatever you feel most comfortable with. All patients will receive a written follow-up letter after their consultation and if you have any questions about what has been discussed we are on hand to advise and support you.
Tailored Treatment Plans that work for you.
We never approach treatment planning as a ‘quick fix’ as we believe it is important to consider the long-term wellbeing of our patients and the implications of procedures many years down the line. Therefore, all initial consultations follow our signature '5S' approach to natural rejuvenation to optimise and protect your results from in-clinic treatments. We will listen to your concerns and goals and guide you with the following considerations:
Sun and environmental protection
We will ensure that your skin is protected from both sun damage and environmental damage by recommending a sunscreen and anti-oxidant product for you to use day to day. UV rays play a huge part in damage to the skin cells leading to accelerated ageing, pigmentation and line formation, so we feel this is a priority if you are wanting to maintain and optimise results from any other treatments.
Skin health optimisation
Once your skin is protected, we will consider whether there are ways to enhance your at home skincare regime. Sometimes you may benefit from a single product for example that will really help to address a particular problem area. We may also discuss in-clinic treatments such as skin boosters for hydration or micro needling for collagen boosting.
Support
As we age, it is normal to lose volume in the face due to the skull underneath changing shape and the overlying fat reducing in size. This results in less support for overlying tissues and skin, leading to more sagging, hollowing under the eyes and the formation of ‘jowls’. We can consider whether restoring some lost volume may help with your treatment goals. Usually this is done using dermal fillers or skin tightening may be achieved with polynucleotides and devices.
Structure
Many patients are looking to enhance the structure of their face such as by defining their cheekbones and lips, projecting their chin or creating a more sculpted jawline. This is something we will often achieve using semi-permanent hyaluronic acid fillers.
Shape
An increasingly common reason for seeking a non-surgical aesthetic treatment is to alter the shape of a specific facial feature. This might involve smoothing the appearance of a hump in the nose, defining the cupids bow in the lips or balancing the side profile.
